Cancellation Terms
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our business, as we make advance arrangements with local partners, guides, and accommodations. Please review our cancellation terms carefully before booking.
Important
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@myalbaniaexplorer.al. The cancellation date is determined by the date we receive your written cancellation request, not the date of the tour.
Rescheduling Your Tour
We understand that sometimes you need to change your travel dates rather than cancel completely. If you need to reschedule:
- •Requests to reschedule must be made at least 30 days before your original departure date
- •A €50 administrative fee applies to all rescheduling requests
- •Rescheduling is subject to availability for your new preferred dates
- •Price differences may apply if tour rates have changed
- •Tours can be rescheduled only once; subsequent changes will be treated as cancellations

In rare cases, we may need to cancel or modify a tour due to circumstances beyond our control:
Insufficient Participants
Tours require a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not met, we will notify you at least 14 days before departure and offer a full refund or alternative tour option.
Force Majeure
In cases of natural disasters, severe weather, political instability, pandemic restrictions, or other events beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel or modify tours. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund of amounts paid, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
Our Commitment: If we cancel your tour for any reason, you will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative tour with no additional charges.
Refund Processing
- •All refunds will be processed within 14 business days after receiving your written cancellation request
- •Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for booking
- •Payment processing fees are non-refundable
- •Bank transfer fees (if applicable) may be deducted from the refund amount
Travel Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. Travel insurance can protect you from unexpected circumstances such as:
- Illness or injury preventing travel
- Family emergencies
- Flight cancellations or delays
- Other unforeseen events
